The 2008 Innovation Conference – organised by Cranfield School of Management and the magazines Eureka and New Electronics – aims to help design-led companies embrace innovation and use it to improve performance.

At this year’s conference (14 May 2008, Woodland Grange Hotel, Leamington Spa) proven innovators share their insight and experience, to help delegates negotiate the road to an innovation culture. See the latest programme HERE.

Other topics on the agenda include improving new product development, introducing an innovation culture and innovative design techniques.

Paul Pankhurst, chairman of last year’s overall iDEA winner PDD, explains how in-depth research can improve new product development

Altro explains how it regained its market leadership in safety flooring – and met challenging new sales targets – by introducing an innovation culture

Stefan Kukula, technical director of Crowcon, reveals how his company exploited platform technology to boost sales of new products

You can also hone your entry to next year’s Innovation & Design Excellence Awards by talking directly to members of the judging panel, in a special ‘Meet the Judges’ session

Interactive workshops will guide delegates through key concepts in innovative design techniques, while Professor Rick Mitchell of Cranfield School of Management illustrates the challenge of creating an innovative organisation using several case studies.
